Naples and Caserta Private Tour.

The tour of Naples and the Royal Palace of Caserta lasts 8 hours. The first stop is the splendid Bourbon building. The visit will last about 2 hours, at the end of which you will drive back to Naples. In just 30 minutes, you will reach the Neapolitan city. From here the tour through the streets of Naples begins. In fact, you will pass through the panoramic area of the city, the main streets and the most beautiful squares. You will linger on the castles, the waterfront and the monumental area. At the end of the car tour, our driver will take you to the entrance of the historic center. From there you will have free time to walk around and discover the “belly” of Naples and perhaps have lunch at some historic pizzerias. At the end of the tour, you will meet the driver at the predetermined place.

The city of Naples

Naples is full of countless treasures to discover, first of all the historic center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don’t miss the Cathedral, the noble palaces built in different architectural styles, churches, catacombs and underground routes, the Archaeological Museum, Castel Nuovo and the Royal Palace. Unparalleled is the beauty of the waterfront, from Castel dell’Ovo to Posillipo. Also worth a visit are the Reggia di Capodimonte and Certosa di San Martino, custodians of some of the most important museum collections in the world.

Historic Center of Naples

We believe that the “Greco-Roman” historic center of Naples, is a concentration of life, colors and passions, representing the true soul of the city. A microcosm that embodies the Neapolitan essence. This place must be visited and experienced. With our tour you will be free to walk among, a checkerboard layout divided by three streets, the “decumani,” cut at right angles by roads called “cardini.”
You will be enchanted among the alleys, artisan stores, artistic wonders that surprise in the most unexpected corners, not forgetting the historic pizzerias. Naples is also an important centers of modern art, in fact, we recommend exploring new contemporary art venues: such as PAN, Palazzo delle Arti Napoli, MADRE, Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Donnaregina. The Neapolitan city, despite the difficulties and contradictions common to all metropolises, is an experience, to be lived, admired, enjoyed: for the art that has strongly marked its history; for the mild climate, which accompanies day and night shows, theater festivals, exhibitions, religious events; for the food. You must taste everything from the flavors of the sea to unique “typical” products (buffalo mozzarella, pizza, DOCG wines, and many desserts).

The Royal Palace of Caserta

The beautiful Royal Palace of Caserta was built in a very fertile area of Campania, rich in places of great historical and cultural interest.
In 1751, it was King Charles of Bourbon who commissioned architect Luigi Vanvitelli to design a palace that would rival the great residences of European monarchs, particularly Versailles. The Royal Palace of Caserta includes four courtyards and thousands of rooms, chapels, museums, and theaters. In the 120-hectare park, there are avenues, fountains, the Great Waterfall and numerous buildings. The palace has 1200 rooms, 34 staircases and 1742 windows.

Paintings and royal gardens

Beautiful are the Palatine Chapel, the Royal Apartments, lavishly decorated with marble and paintings and furnished with period furniture, the Palatine Library and the Royal Crib.
The Picture Gallery of the Royal Palace of Caserta is divided into several sections. The Quadreria houses portraits of the Bourbon kings and queens of both Italy and France. Of enormous importance is the Park of the Reggia. Splendid is the central avenue (about 3 kilometers), adorned with fountains, lawns and flower beds. The water sequence ends with the Great Waterfall, known as the Fountain of Diana.
An English Garden, desired by Maria Carolina of Austria, is also located in the park. It is rich in exotic and rare plants, embellished with greenhouses, groves and avenues. Don’t miss the pond, with the striking “Bath of Venus” statue.
